“Pilot” Course: UAV Planning and Operations in Mountainous Terrain”
Aim:
The primary objective of this pilot course is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively plan and execute the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in mountainous environments. The course will place particular emphasis on the cooperative use of different types of UAVs, including both reconnaissance UAVs and First-Person View (FPV) UAVs, to enhance situational awareness and operational effectiveness in difficult terrain. In addition to mission planning and coordination, participants will engage in discussions and practical exercises related to counter-UAV tactics and defensive measures, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both offensive and protective strategies in UAV operations.

- General overview about the UAV (including FPV)
- Mission planning
- Practical flight training for operators/pilots
- Use of UAS for terrain assessment
- Coordination between reconnaissance UAV and FPV
- Counter UAV measures
