Flexible Mission Platform Counter-UAS Off-Road Mobility Capability Integration Industrial Partnerships Mountain Environments

Rodolfo “Tito” Sosa works within Moog’s European defense team, developing the partnerships and industrial ecosystem supporting the Flexible Mission Platform (FMP). His work brings together platform manufacturers, technology providers and end users to advance mobile, modular defense capabilities, with a focus on counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS).

He brings experience working with original equipment manufacturers including JCB, Wacker Neuson, SANY and Hyundai Heavy Industries. This background provides a practical understanding of off-road mobility, equipment integration and the demands placed on machinery operating in difficult terrain. He applies this perspective to the development of deployable defense concepts that combine mobility, adaptability and protection of personnel and critical assets.

Born in Arequipa, Peru, and raised in the United States, Tito brings an international perspective shaped by the Andes, where altitude, topography and access influence infrastructure, mobility and everyday life. This connection informs his interest in how terrain shapes the deployment and sustainment of capabilities in mountain environments.

Tito also serves as a Moog point of contact for Ukraine. His wife and children are Ukrainian, giving him a personal connection to the country’s future and a strong commitment to European sovereignty, security and resilience. Through his work, he seeks to build lasting industrial partnerships that connect operational needs with practical, affordable and scalable defense solutions.
