Preparations for the Winter Mountain Risk Management Workshop are well underway, and we are eagerly looking forward to an exciting and productive event. With just a little fresher snowfall, we will be able to carry out all our planned activities smoothly, ensuring an optimal learning and training experience for all participants.
A key highlight of this year’s workshop will be the latest advancements in using UAVs for risk management in mountain operations. These innovations are set to revolutionize risk management and logistics in high-altitude environments. For the first time, we will be conducting an extended UAV transport of equipment in mountainous terrain, marking a significant step forward in our ability to enhance efficiency and reduce risks in such challenging terrain.
