NATO MW COE and MTI Meeting

Due to the Covid situation during the last two years, the 5th NATO MW COE and EU P&S MTI (Mountain Training Initative) workshop could only be held again on 20 April 2022.

The workshop was held at the General Rudolf Maister Barracks in Maribor. The Director of the Mountain Warfare Center of Excellence, COL Borut FLAJŠMAN and the Acting Chairman of the Mountain Training Initative, COL Matthias RITZ, underlined the need for close cooperation and exchange between COE and MTI.

It is only through close cooperation that future tasks in mountain combat  can be discussed and solutions developed. In this way, the demands of multi-domain warfare can also be met in mountain combat and the necessary conclusions can be drawn from this.
