Martin SPENSBERGER
Lieutenant Colonel Martin Spensberger is a German Army Mountain Infantry officer and certified Military Mountain Guide with extensive command, training and staff experience in mountain warfare.
Throughout his career, he has served in several leadership positions within German Mountain Infantry units, including as Company Commander and S3 Staff Officer.
He also served as Course Leader and Trainer at the Mountain Warfare School in Mittenwald.
From 2019 to 2024, he served as Deputy Commander of the German Mountain Warfare School.
He is currently assigned to the Infantry Branch of the German Army Concepts and Capabilities Development Centre in Cologne as a G3 Staff Officer.
His operational experience includes leading a German Mobile Training Unit in Iraq and conducting brigade-level staff training for Peshmerga forces.
