Visit by the Ambassador of FRANCE to NATO MW COE
On the 18th of April 2023, the Ambassador of France, H.E. Ms. Florence Levy, together with the French Military Attache Colonel Stephane Loechleiter, paid a visit to the NATO MW COE.
The visit was hosted by the Director of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE), COL Borut Flajšman, accompanied by Deputy Director COL Ruggero Cucchini who shared, together with staff members, a short brief on the MW COE, followed by a presentation of the MW COE.
During the presentation Colonel Flajšman stressed the importance of cooperation in the Mountain Warfare area of interest, where the French Armed Forces, with their experience and knowledge, are one of the main actors. France already participates in several events in the centre. Hopefully in the future the French flag will join the other member states flags in the NATO MW COE.
