Visit by the Ministers of Defence in NATO MW COE

On 18 March 2021, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Radmila Shekerinska and Minister of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Matej Tonin, with their delegations, paid a visit to the NATO MW COE.

The visit was hosted by the Director of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE), COL Borut Flajšman, who gave a short brief on the MW COE, followed by a presentation of the MW COE’s current focal activity namely the Mountain Warfare Concept Experiment which was delivered by our team located in SAF Joint Training Centre in Postojna.

The presentation was well accepted by both Ministers and their delegations. The Slovenian Minister affirmed the Framework Nation’s strong commitment to support the MW COE’s future projects, while H.E. Radmila Shekerinska expressed the expectation that the North Macedonian flag will join the MW COE nations soon.[envira-gallery id=”3595″]
