Insights from the 5th Mountain Warfare “Congress Book”

After the conclusion of the 5th Mountain Warfare (MW) Congress, the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence prepares the MW Congress Book, which contains articles with summaries of the presentations provided by the speakers.

The articles cover topics related to the theme of the Congress, “Vertical Manoeuvre,” in mountainous environments, including normative documents, historical perspectives, operational tactics, logistical support, the use of drones, and lessons learned. The number of speakers and participants, as well as the participation of members of the Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation, underlines the importance of this event.
