Altenstadt Battalion 3 visit

A delegation from the Non-Commissioned Officer and Warrant Officer Candidate Battalion 3 in Altenstadt visited the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MWCOE) in Slovenia on September 18, 2023. LTC Dennis Jahn, the German national representative at the MW COE, provided the soldiers with information about the structure and mission of the Centre.

Along the Framework Nation Slovenia, Germany, Croatia, Italy, and Austria as a Contributing Partner are founding members of the MWCOE, which was established in 2015. Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic joined the Centre as sponsoring entities.
