Commander U.S. Army Europe Visit

On 23[envira-gallery id=”346″] April 2015, the MW COE had the honour of hosting H.E. Mr. Brent R. Hartley, U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Slovenia and LtGen Frederick Ben Hodges, Commander U.S. Army Europe. Both, the MW COE Director, COL Boštjan Blaznik, and the Steering Committee Chairman, BG Bojan Pograjc, presented the newly established Iinstitution, which will bring support to the ACT and interested partners in mountain warfare environment.

COL Boštjan Blaznik gave a briefing about the accreditation and activation of the Centre, current and future projects and their significance for the actual establishment of the Centre.
