Mountain Warfare Small Units Leader Course (MW SULC) in Poland

The NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE), together with the Military University of Land Forces from Poland (Akademia Wojsk Lądowich – AWL), is conducting a second MW Small Units Leader Course (SULC) in Poland.

The two-week MW SULC  is currently ongoing in the AWL Mountain Training Area “Wysoki Kamień” Szklarska Poręba. The course, which includes both NATO and Partnership for Peace countries, is being held from 19 to 30 September 2022.

The aim of this course is to provide mountain light infantry and light infantry platoon company commanders with specific knowledge of movement, survival and planning of operations in mountainous terrain.
