NATO MW COE DIAMONT EVENT 2022
It is our great pleasure to inform you that the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (NATO MW COE) will organize the 4th MW CONGRESS 2022.
Referring to the “NATO Centre of Excellence Concept” (Prague Summit 2002) ¨COEs offer recognized expertise and experience to the benefit of the Alliance¨ in their domain (cp. MCM-236-03).
The topic of the 4th MW Congress in 2022 is “Physical and Psychological Performance of Mountain Warfare Soldiers, Followers and Leaders“.
Scientific and practical presentations in the form of keynotes, lectures, a poster session and practical demonstrations including technological developments will focus on a fundamental premise that soldiers are the centre of warfighting in mountainous environment. The congress should stimulate decision makers to take advantage of science and applications of physical and mental fitness as well as injury prevention research inside their area and echelon of responsibility.
The event is scheduled to take place November 07-10, 2022, in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.
